During the month of January, classes will work together on their collaboration skills to create a sculpture or structure using snow! Classes will be taking pictures of their creations and we will celebrate their designs at the Feb. 8th Assembly.

Kindergarten Registration for the 2019-20 school year will open on January 7, 2019. The registration process will take place online at our website. Parents/Guardians are encouraged to register their children as soon as possible upon the opening of registration, or by mid-February at the latest. Registering early will assist our school in preparation and planning for the upcoming school year. Southwood School is once again selling magazine subscriptions through QSP. This fundraiser is completely optional and available throughout the entire school year. Southwood School will be recognizing International Walk-to-School Month with three morning walks and our school walk-a-thon. The morning walks will take place on October 10, 17 and 24th. Each day we will be starting from a new location and walking to school. Students are invited to join staff as they”walk to school”. These morning walks are intended to promote traffic safety, physical activity, and promoting environmental issues.
