Happy Numeracy Month Southwood School!
During the month of January your child will have an opportunity to practice their math skills with fun at-home scavenger hunts and be entered in some draws for $5 Dairy Queen gift cards! Every Friday in January your child will bring home a math scavenger hunt. They can complete it independently or with the help of an adult/older sibling. Once completed, please have your child bring it back to school and hand it in to their teacher to be entered in the draw. The scavenger hunt sheets must be returned by the following Thursday in order to qualify for the draws, as winners will be announced Friday mornings! 3 lucky students will win a gift card for each scavenger hunt. Please remind your child to write their name and class on the top of the scavenger hunt papers.
