We would like to welcome “Leo” the Leopard Gecko to Southwood School! As you may have heard, we have a new school pet that moved in this week. Early in the week each class was asked to vote on which kind of gecko we would get (out a choice of three) and the results were almost unanimous in favour of the leopard gecko. Student led conferences will be held on Thursday, November 28th. Once again, parents/guardians will be able to sign up for a half hour appointment where your child will lead you through their learning thus far. Appointments can be made using the Parent Portal now or by calling the school at 204-326-3518. We look forward to this exciting time for you and your child.
