What to Do Next If You Have to Pick Up Your Child Due to Illness

If your child is unwell at school and the screening protocols indicate that they should not remain at school, we will call and ask you to come pick them up.

To facilitate their return to school, please follow these instructions:

Based on your child’s symptoms you will be advised to do one of the following :
1) Stay home and self-isolate until symptoms subside
2) See your physician
3) Get tested for COVID-19

Should your child require a COVID-19 test, they cannot return to school until you receive a negative test result.

Observe your child closely for worsening or new symptoms and contact Health Links or your Doctor if necessary.

Please contact the school to let us know how long your child will be staying home.
