According to Southwood tradition, students were challenged to raise donations for the Terry Fox Foundation – a very worthy charity in the fight against Cancer. With the goal of raising more than $2 001, our students and staff brought coins, and pledges to school, and made donations online. In the end, the total amount raised for this year was, $2 750.05. We are very excited about our new school motto (care. learn. grow.) and our new school logo. We still have a tree as our logo but it has been changed a little bit.
