Southwood School will celebrate the National Day for Truth and Reconciliation, formerly known as Orange Shirt Day – Every Child Matters on September 29th, 2021. Schools will be closed on September 30th, 2021 to recognize the trauma caused to many by residential schools. Southwood’s Strong Connections Days are almost here. September 17 and 20th are designated days where only half our students attend each day. This provides an opportunity for teachers to get to know their students as a learner and students to get to know their teachers in smaller groups.
