The Southwood PAC is launching a new hot lunch program for the start of 2018. Using the munch-a-lunch online service, parents will now order and pay for students’ hot lunches. Detailed instructions are coming home from PAC outlining how to create an account and make your order. The link to the munch-a-lunch website can be found along the side of the Southwood School webpage. You are welcome to contact the Southwood PAC with any questions you may have.

The Morning Reading club is starting in January! It will be held in the library from 8:30 am – 8:50 am every day from January through March. The club is open to all students from Kindergarten to Grade 4. Students are welcome to come listen to a teacher read stories, or students can read quietly on their own. Need a last minute holiday present or want to renew a current magazine subscription? Once again, Southwood School is selling magazine subscriptions. This is completely optional, and proceeds raised will go towards purchasing various school items. All purchases can be made online. Southwood’s Newest Roof Written by: 4J November 7 2017 On October 10, 2017, Master Roofing started to repair Southwood School’s 30 year old, leaking roof. If no problems arise, the roof is expected to be completed by Christmas. Mr. Johnson’s grade 4 class interviewed the foreman of Master Roofing regarding the process of this huge project.
