Hello Southwood families.
This message is to inform you that we will be moving to an automated calling system for our daily attendance calls. If a parent has not excused their child using the parent portal, calling the office before 9:10 am (204-326-3518) or emailing our office staff at southwood@hsd.ca, their child will be marked “absent” by the classroom teacher. At 9:35 am, an automated voice message will be sent to the primary phone number on file in our system informing the parent that their child is not in attendance at school. An afternoon attendance call will also be sent out at 1:25 pm.
The automated system is set to begin, Monday March 19, 2018. If you have any questions please contact the school office.
