The Neighbourhood Kindness Challenge

We’ve come to the final challenge of our school year – the Neighbourhood Kindness Challenge. See below for all the steps and always show your kindness, Southwood Students!!

1) Think of an idea of something nice to do for your neighbourhood
2) Complete your task
3) Email a photo or an explanation of what you did to by June 25th

Bike Safety Challenge

Our Bike Safety Challenge has now ended. Congratulations to Evelyn in 2C for her winning entry into the bike safety challenge contest.

Earth Week Challenge

The Earth Day Challenge is now closed and the winners have been announced! See below to find out who won!

Let’s all celebrate Earth Week with our newest schoolwide challenge! Here’s Ms. Johnson with all the details to get you started!

The students can choose any of the following challenges…
1) Make an Earth Day song
2) Write an Earth Day poem
3) Plant a garden, flowers or a tree
4) Go around their neighbourhood with their family and help clean it up.

Once students have completed their challenge, take a photo or video of it and send it to by May 4th to be entered.
