According to Southwood tradition, students were challenged to raise donations for the Terry Fox Foundation – a very worthy charity in the fight against Cancer. With the goal of raising more than $2 001, our students and staff brought coins, and pledges to school, and made donations online. In the end, the total amount raised for this year was, $2 750.05.
Having met the challenge, Ms. McPherson, Mr. Johnson (paying tribute for Ms. Senyk), Mrs. Beaudin, Mr. Kehler, and Mr. Rempel from Mix 96 ate a total of 71 bugs between them. Enjoy the photos and video to experience the fun for yourself!
